Greetings, friends!  It has been ages and ages since our last chat.  I ran into a bit of trouble in Utah, but not a big deal, and I am back and I am fine and I am grateful for my friends.  So, how are you?  My editor is posting me someplace new, and I find it quite thrilling.  I adore change!   I know, you want me to talk movies to you …k, so here we go!

I kept hearing this film mentioned in certain circles and the feedback was good.  The I saw that it was up for a few Academy Awards…hmmm…even betta.  I got it and I watched and I liked it.  You got two fantastic actresses, JULIANNE MOORE and ANNETTE BENING(can’t remember if both are up for awards or not), they play same-sex parents of two children, wonderfully played by MIA WASIKOWSKA and JOSH HUTCHINSON.  These children wanna find their “sperm donor-dad”, well played by Mark Ruffalo.  They find him and then want to bring him into the family.   So, pretty simple plot, but the script is really well written.  It is funny and emotionally charged and at times very moving.  It deals with the issues of growing up, realtionships and communication.  The acting is really what holds all this together.  Some magnificent work by all involved.  The writing really helps to give a nice foundation to this film. Loved it!
