Microsoft Sells 10 Millionth Kinect

Microsoft announced on Thursday it has now sold more than 10 million of its Kinect device for the X-box 360, making it the world's fastest-selling consumer electronics device, according to Guinness.  The Kinect device is a peripheral for Microsoft's popular X-box 360 game console that allows players to interact with the console using voice and gestures without having to use a controller.

In addition to selling ten million Kinect units, Microsoft says it has also sold 10 million games for it.  And that is not including the one game that comes with the unit, but 10 million stand-alone games have been sold for Kinect.
