Jim Morrison's College Transcripts Released
Florida State University released the transcripts of legendary Doors singer Jim Morrisonto the Associated Press on Friday, as Florida Governor Charlie Crist is considering pardoning Morrison for an indecent exposure conviction in 1969.
Morrison attended the university for four trimesters beginning in 1961 and received mostly As and Bs in acting, philosophy, and other classes. He was convicted of allegedly exposing himself at a concert on March 1st, 1969 and died two years later in Paris, France before an appeal of the conviction could be heard.
Morrison's father has vehemently denied the allegations, saying his son was a good student who had respect for authority. Governor Crist supports a posthumous pardon for the musician, and will attempt to obtain it before his term in office is up.
