Halladay Throws No-No in 1st Career Playoff Start

Philadelphia Philles ace Roy Halladay pitched a no-hitter in Game 1 of the team's NL Playoff Series against the Cincinnati Reds. It is just the second post-season no-hitter in MLB history, the first being New York Yankee Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series.

It was also the first post-season start of his career. Halladay had spent the first eleven years of his career as a Toronto Blue Jay, never advancing to the post-season. The only blemish on Halladay's night was a 5th-inning walk to Jay Bruce. The effort was the second no-hitter for Halladay this season.
