Cookie Monster to host SNL

On Nov. 23rd, SesameStreet.org posted a video of Cookie Monster auditioning to host Saturday Night Live. The video was posted to youtube.com with a link to facebook.com to "like" as part of a viral campaign to get the self described "cookie enthusiast" the prestigious hosting gig.

Back in 1975, Jim Henson's Muppets were featured on Saturday Night Live during it's first season, but this would be the first time in the show's 35 year run that a Muppet would actually host the sketch show.

Whether the video is an actual bid to host the show or just a very funny joke; I for one would love to see Cookie Monster host SNL.
