The Dave Matthews Band is among the artists that have been confirmed for an upcoming benefit concert for the victims of the summer's devastating flooding in Colorado. Dubbed “Colorado Rising,” the event will take place on October 27th at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, just outside of Denver. Another national act that has agreed to perform is Big Head Todd and the Monsters, who hail from nearby Boulder, one of the hardest-hit communities from summer flooding. DeVotchKa, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Fray and several members of the Lumineers have also agreed to take part.

Tickets for the “Colorado Rising” benefit are scheduled to go on sale Friday at a purchase price between $65 and $125 each. Proceeds from the show, a spokesman said, would be used to assist with cleanup and rebuilding infrastructure in communities affected by flooding, with disbursement administration being handled by the United Way of Colorado's Flood Recovery Fund.
